Now, when I first saw the preview I was thinking this movie was not going to turn out very well, since most movies based off of an anime turn out to be a failure a lot of the time.

So today, I decided to go watch it at the theater with my dad, as he wanted to see it too. The movie turned out better than I expected. The beginning started off a bit slow mostly just talking about Speed's past life, but things started to pick up half way through when Speed was going into the races and picked up even more toward the end, but I don't want to say much so I won't spoil it for everyone. =P The special effects were amazing, had lots of glowing colors on the tracks which reminded me a bit Tron, and was very fast paced like the game F-Zero especially with the fighting scenes. Anyways, I was very impressed with everything and will want to get it once it comes out on DVD.
